| Cats
are played with several times a day and are allowed to
roam around or loaf in an enclosed room for exercise and
mischief.
We also integrate our boarding dogs
with our Doggy Daycare Program so
your dog - if he/she is able - has plenty of opportunity
to socialize with other dogs of the same size, temperament
and activity level. Our facility provides seven
large and grassy fenced-in yards as well as individual
outdoor kennels. Taking into account the weather and
activity level of your dog, most dogs can play outside
all day. During inclement weather we have a large indoor
room for dogs to play in.
Our kennel staff monitors all boarders
closely and communicates with the medical staff if it appears
a pet may need special attention. Because we are a veterinary
hospital first, we are capable of responding quickly to
your pet if the need should arise. Our experienced staff
can also safely and reliabably administer any medication
that is needed. Our doctors are on-call for any after-hour
concerns as well.

* Medical Requirements for Boarders - In
an effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for
all animals within our facility, our hospital policy requires
that all dogs must be current on their rabies, distemper,
parvo and kennel cough vaccinations. They must also have
had a negative fecal within the last 3 months, be on regular
heartworm prevention and flea control and have had a negative
heartworm test within the last year. Any dog over 6 months
of age must be spayed or neutered in order to be able to
socialize with the other dogs. (Grooming patients
do not need the fecal test.)
Cats must be current on their rabies
and distemper. They must also be free from fleas. |
