My best friend closed her eyes last night,
As her head was in my hand.
The Doctors said she was in pain,
And it was hard for her to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled her in my arms.
Were of her younger, puppy years,
And OH...her many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze,"
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

Alli was my dog i took her all kinds of places like the lake she was a doggie who whore clothes and she was only a puppy i only had her for one summer. in 2008 when i went to my friends house i was on my way to church she gave me this look like where are you going why are you leaving me?????? and that question i still ask my self why did i leave well the i went to my friends house for 3 days. she gave me a ride home and i got out and ran all over the yard looking for her then went inside my mom gave me this look i knew it oh no she said " I'm sorry she ran under the wheels of your daddys car." my heart broke my best friend had died. i cryed for days i still do 2 years later she was my best friend then they just replaced her 3 days later with this little boy puppy which he turned out to be a great dog i still got him.

Alli was the 3rd best dog i ever had thats a high number cause ive had over a hundred dogs in my life wow i know thats alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
